Wild Mountain's tapered cedar shafts have a 5/16" measurement on the nock side and an 11/32" measurement on the toe side. This taper of the shaft results in a cleaner arrow flight and a flatter trajectory. A tapered arrow stabilises much faster and absorbs more energy, resulting in more speed and a flatter parabola.
These tapered cedar shafts guarantee high quality in the area of "straightness" of the "spine" and "weight (+/- 0.5 grains per inch)".
These characteristics are indicated on all shafts by marking.
In addition, all shafts are lacquered and thus sealed.
Spin values: 35 = 30-35; 40 = 35-40; 45 = 40-45; 50 = 45-50 etc.
Length: 31"
