The metal injection moulded, illuminated nock system produces an audible click when properly attached to the crossbow string. The super-bright LED system is triggered by the forward movement of the string and actuates Nockturnal's patented linear piston-driven switch, which is activated by the crossbow string. These illuminated cams are exceptionally reliable and require no special tools to set up and are factory fitted to the stocks. Side illumination ports on the body of the cam allow for additional light diffusion and better "tracking" as the cam moves. The lithium battery has a life of more than 20 hours, offering the possibility of reuse and easy identification long after the shot.
